Vernon Hills program explores life of Elvis Presley
Historian Gary Wenstrup will present the history of Elvis Presley at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, at Aspen Drive Library, 701 Aspen Dr., Vernon Hills.
Participants can step into Presley’s life from his explosive rise in 1956 to his reign as the King of Rock & Roll. His iconic performances, musical legacy and lasting cultural impact will be explored.
As a bonus, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has donated four complimentary tickets for a visit. Attendees can enter a drawing to win two tickets to the iconic destination in Cleveland.
