Free ice cream Thursday at Shaq’s Big Chicken in Rosemont

Big Chicken in Rosemont will honor its founder, NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal, by giving out free ice cream cones to mark his 53rd birthday on Thursday.
The restaurant, at 9437 W. Higgins Road, will provide the complimentary treats while supplies last. The offer is limited to one per person, with no purchase necessary.
Franchisees Ken and Vishal Patel opened the first Illinois Big Chicken in July 2023, and O’Neal visited the following month. The Patels previously announced plans for their next location set to open at 100 W. Rand Road in Arlington Heights.
