The Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce, local business leaders and community residents came together to celebrate the opening of The Den Reserve Personal Training with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Owners Todd and Natalee Zehrer opened The Den at 455 W. Northwest Hwy., Suite 8, Barrington, in the spring of 2022.

The Place for Children with Autism was the recipient of Lake in the Hills' 2024 Gordon Larsen Business of the Year Award. It was presented to representatives of the organization at the Feb. 13 village board meeting. Five other businesses were nominated for the award — Costco, Ziegler’s Ace Hardware, The Annex Restaurant & Lounge, and Lucas Orthodontics.

Village Treasure House recently held a ribbon cutting for its grand reopening at 1460 Paddock Drive in Northbrook. The upscale charitable donation/consignment shop offers a selection of furnishings, accessories, and artwork.
