Man charged in connection with shooting at Elk Grove Township mobile home park
A 32-year-old man is facing charges connected to a shooting last month at an Elk Grove Township mobile home park.
Cook County sheriff’s office investigators said witnesses identified Gabriel Perez as the person responsible for a Feb. 24 shooting on the 400 block of West Touhy Avenue where two mobile homes and a vehicle were struck.
No injuries were reported in the shooting.
He was taken into custody without incident during a traffic stop in Franklin Park, authorities said.
Perez is charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm and is currently being held at the Cook County jail.
