Understands what families face

As a pediatric ICU nurse practitioner, I see firsthand the challenges families face every day. Whether it’s ensuring children have access to health care, advocating for safer communities or supporting working parents, I know that strong leadership makes a difference. That’s why I am proud to support Carina Santa Maria for Arlington Heights village trustee.

Carina is not only an experienced leader, but she is also a working mother who understands the realities that many families navigate. She knows what it means to balance career and family while fighting for policies that support children, working parents and our community as a whole. Her leadership embodies the idea that mothers belong in every level of decision-making, including government.

Women — especially working mothers — bring unique perspectives that help shape policies that work for all of us. Carina’s campaign reflects this belief. She is dedicated to advocating for safe streets, strong schools and a thriving community where families can grow and succeed. She understands that when we invest in families, we build a stronger and more connected village.
