Oakton College invites future students to open house

Oakton College invites prospective students and families to its open house from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 12, at the Des Plaines campus, 1600 E. Golf Road. Explore academic programs, meet faculty and staff, tour the campus and connect with the resources you need to reach your goals.

Oakton’s open house is an excellent opportunity for future students to discover an accessible, student-focused college experience and take the next step toward a successful future. Families are welcome.

The open house will provide valuable insights into the college’s more than 150 degree and certificate programs, including career-focused programs and transfer pathways to top four-year institutions. Attendees can:

• Explore academic programs by speaking with faculty and staff.

• Take a guided campus tour, including classrooms and labs, and experience student life.

• Receive expert guidance on financial aid, scholarships and payment options.

• Get personalized assistance with the application and enrollment process.

• Learn about support services, including tutoring, career counseling and student clubs and organizations.

• Get the inside scoop on the upcoming Health Careers Education Center in Evanston, featuring new programs in cardiac sonography, surgical technology and radiography.
