Kids can collect eggs, take photos at Long Grove Bunny Hop

Long Grove’s historic downtown will provide the setting for Easter fun when the village holds its annual Bunny Hop from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 19.

This year, the Bunny Hop expands with activities spread throughout downtown Long Grove. Families will follow the Bunny Trail, hopping from one station to another and enjoying treats and interactive fun for kids of all ages.

What to expect

• Free admission for all families

• Treat-filled eggs at every stop — visitors are encouraged to bring a basket to collect all the goodies.

• Face painting, balloon artists, and Easter-themed activities

• Meet Easter Bunnies — Families can snap a photo with the star of the day.

• Fire truck tours — Children will have the chance to explore real fire trucks and meet local heroes.

• Music and entertainment — Live music at Covered Bridge Park.

Supporting local merchants

In addition to the activities, downtown Long Grove businesses — including boutiques, restaurants, and local shops — will offer seasonal specials, Easter treats, and surprises throughout the day.

How to participate

The Bunny Trail begins by stopping by one of the Bunny Hop tents throughout town, where visitors can also pick up a map of the adventure. The event produced by the Historic Downtown Long Grove Business Association and open to all families.
