Lombard looks to fill board vacancy

Lombard trustees are seeking applicants to fill a vacant seat on the village board.

The open spot is available because Trustee Anthony Puccio will be sworn in next month as Lombard’s new village president. His replacement as District 2 trustee will serve the remaining two years left in the term.

After interviews, the board will recommend a candidate for appointment.

To be considered, those interested must live in District 2 and should submit their application by the close of business on Friday, April 18. Applications should include a letter of interest explaining their qualifications and reasons for applying, along with a resume outlining relevant experience. Applications may be submitted on the village’s website at villageoflombard.org/committees.

For details, contact Deputy Village Clerk Sheila York at (630) 620-5741.
