Palatine police hosting community beat meetings

The Palatine Police Department will host community beat meetings this spring, with the first set for Beat 8120 from 9-11 a.m. Thursday, April 10. at Mariano’s, 545 N. Hicks Road.

Other meetings are scheduled for: Beat 8110, 9-11 a.m. April 23, at Dunkin’ Donuts, 231 W. Northwest Highway; Beat 8150, 5-7 p.m. May 8, at Sundling Middle School, 1100 N. Smith St.; and Beat 8100, 1-3 p.m. May 30, at Palatine Senior Center, 505 S. Quentin Road.

The events provide an opportunity for residents to connect with the officers patrolling their communities and discuss traffic and safety concerns in their area of the village. Coloring supplies and pictures will be available for kids in attendance.
