Resource fair for seniors, veterans April 12 in Palatine

A Senior & Veteran Resource Fair is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 12, at Plum Grove Banquet Hall, 4001 Park Drive, in Palatine.

Organizations in attendance include Hines VA Hospital staff, Cook County Health, iCash, Rolling Meadows Department of Human Services and the Illinois Department of Veterans’ Affairs.

State Rep. Nicolle Grasse of Arlington Heights, state Rep. Nabeela Syed of Palatine, state Sen. Mark Walker of Arlington Heights and Cook County commissioners Maggie Trevor and Kevin Morrison also will be in attendance.

“This is a great opportunity for our neighbors to get connected locally to a variety of valuable information, resources, and services that are specifically tailored to our older residents and veterans in the Northwest Suburbs,” Grasse said in an announcement of the event.
