BOMA/Suburban Chicago names regional TOBY Award winner

Schaumburg, April 9, 2025: The North Central Region of Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International has announced the regional winners of The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) Award competition. BOMA/Suburban Chicago is proud to announce that one of their member buildings has won the Regional TOBY Award.

The management team was notified with congratulations from members of the BOMA/Suburban Chicago leadership and Awards & Recognition Committee. The North Central Region includes Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, and Ohio.

The regional winners will now advance to the international competition. International winners will be announced on July 1, 2025, during the TOBY Awards Program at BOMA International’s Annual Conference in Boston. Through the prestigious TOBY Award program, BOMAs around the world recognize properties that exemplify outstanding quality and management practices.

The TOBY Award is not a beauty contest, but a management award. Winning the TOBY Award not only sets a building apart from others, but it is a true testament to the commitment, hard work, and dedication of the property management team.

The facility was selected for the effectiveness of their overall management in 11 categories. Judges thoroughly reviewed their online entry portfolio, which included in-depth descriptions about their community impact, tenant relations, energy conservation, emergency preparedness procedures, and more.
