Prairie Yoga partners with Theosophical Society in America for yoga teacher training this fall

Prairie Yoga in Wheaton is partnering with the Theosophical Society in America to offer a Yoga Alliance-approved Yoga Teacher Training Program, beginning this fall at the society’s national headquarters in Wheaton, Illinois.

This collaboration brings together Prairie Yoga’s acclaimed teacher training curriculum with the tranquil and spiritually rich environment of the Theosophical Society, creating a powerful setting for immersive learning, self-discovery, and transformation.

The 250-hour program is designed for aspiring yoga teachers and dedicated practitioners seeking to deepen their knowledge and practice. Training will be held over a series of in-person weekend sessions and will include instruction in yoga asana, anatomy, philosophy, breath work, meditation, and teaching methodology.

“We are honored to partner with the Theosophical Society, an organization that shares our commitment to holistic education and spiritual growth,” said Lori Gaspar, founder of Prairie Yoga. “This collaboration offers a truly unique opportunity to study yoga in a peaceful and contemplative setting.”

The program emphasizes alignment-based asana, thoughtful sequencing, and the integration of yoga’s classical teachings. Participants will graduate with the skills and confidence needed to teach safe, effective, and inspiring classes.

Classes begin fall 2025. Space is limited and early application is encouraged. For more information, visit www.theosophical.org/yoga and prairieyoga.org/250-hour-foundation-yoga-teacher-training.
