Glen Ellyn Park District to host Disc Golf Ace Race
Get ready to test your disc golf skills and aim for the ultimate prize at the Disc Golf Ace Race on Saturday, May 10.
The Glen Ellyn Park District is hosting this competition where the only score that matters is a hole in one.
It will be 9 to 11 a.m. at Maryknoll Park, 845 Pershing Ave. in Glen Ellyn. Participants, age 3 and up, are invited to play two rounds of disc golf on the 9-hole course. Instead of traditional scoring, the goal is simple: throw as many aces (holes in one) as possible!
To ensure everyone can participate, the course will feature shortened holes with both adult and youth tees. Families and groups will play together, and single players will be grouped with others for a friendly and engaging experience.
Here’s where the excitement kicks in — every ace earns a $25 Dick’s Sporting Goods gift card, mailed directly to your home. Plus, each ace also enters you into a drawing for the grand prize: a $100 Visa gift card. The more aces you score, the greater your chances of winning.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own discs, but spares will be available for those who need them. Each participant will also receive a swag bag filled with disc golf goodies.
