Glenbard South Theatre to present Rodgers & Hammerstein’s ‘Cinderella’
A beloved fairy tale springs to life with wit, wonder and a touch of modern magic as Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “Cinderella (Broadway Version)” graces the stage at Glenbard South High School this April.
With performances running from April 25-27, this timeless musical promises an unforgettable experience for the entire family.
This adaptation of the classic tale features all the charm and sweeping romance of the original story, enhanced with a contemporary flair.
More than just a glass slipper and a magical transformation, this Cinderella introduces a spirited heroine who dares to dream beyond the life she’s known. With a refreshed script by Douglas Carter Beane, the show explores themes of kindness, self-empowerment and the importance of making a difference in the world around us.
Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella (Broadway Version) will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, April 25-26, and 2 p.m. Sunday, April 27, in the Glenbard South Auditorium.
Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online at glenbardsouthhs.seatyourself.biz, or with cash or check at the door. Patrons should enter at Door 9 for the performances.
