Celebrate nature, sustainability and conservation at Earth Day event
The Adler Arts Center, 1700 N. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville will host its annual Earth Day event from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 26.
Dedicated to honoring the planet and inspiring positive environmental change in the community, the free, family-friendly event celebrates nature, sustainability, and conservation.
Visitors can take part in litter cleanup, remove invasive plants (bring work gloves for either or both) and experience the art of falconry. Hands-on workshops on natural fabric dyes, eco-friendly crafts, and more are planned and Lake County Audubon Society will have information and items for sale.
