The true elites

Recently Batya Unger-Sargon, deputy opinion editor of Newsweek, in an interview stunned the world when she said “the Democrats are the party of the wealthy.”

Of course, as we all know, every other word by national Democrats like Bernie Sanders, AOC, Chuck Schumer, Dick Durbin, JB Pritzker and many more claim that President Trump and the Republicans are the party of the wealthy and all their policies are designed to help the wealthy and exclude the poor.

The deputy opinion editor of Newsweek begs to disagree, pointing out in her research that in the last election 50% of hedge fund managers donated to the Democrats, 75% of Silicon Valley donations went to Democrats and unbelievably those Americans earning $500,000 or more are Democrats.

Since this is a major talking point for almost all democrats and it probably will not change, I would encourage everyone to listen to the rhetoric of almost all Democratic politicians on how often they push the narrative that Trump and the Republicans are the wealthy elites who only care about themselves and they don’t care about the common good of anyone else.
