We need to act now to protect ourselves
If you ever watch the birds at a feeder and the squirrels feasting below, you might notice that on occasion they all scatter. If you ever wondered why, you might recall that they are prey. They cannot afford to sit and evaluate the danger as it might cost them their lives. The risk is far too great for the Cooper’s Hawk, a fierce predator, might be lurking nearby.
When people pray, they usually wish the recipient a long life, being free from illness, enjoying freedom, great resources and happiness.
That’s what we want.
Sadly, starting with “Citizens United” passed by the Supreme Court in 2010, we have seen a shift in political power to the wealthy.
Increasingly, the country has become an oligarchy, run by the rich and powerful. Predators don’t care about you. They will feed on your assets if given the chance.
As someone who has spent many hours with a chain saw, the view of Musk waving a chain saw around is nothing more than a menacing warning of the cruelty and death to come.
We should take a lesson from the birds and squirrels in my backyard and treat this as the danger it is.
Thinking about it too long could end in death. We need to act now in any way that suits you.
Trump destroyed companies and went bankrupt six times. Why would we be surprised that he’s doing it again, to us — that’s what he does!
