Journey of Hope to host Alleluia Quartet in 40th anniversary concert

Journey of Hope United Methodist Church in Elgin welcomes back the Alleluia Quartet for a special evening of music and celebration on Saturday, April 26.

The evening begins with a spaghetti dinner at 5 p.m., followed by a concert at 6:30 p.m., held at the church’s Elgin campus, located at the corner of Randall Road and Highland Avenue.

This performance marks a meaningful return to Elgin for Alleluia Quartet, who last performed in the area several years ago.

Even more special, this event is part of the group’s 40th anniversary celebration — a milestone marking four decades of sharing God’s message of hope, grace, and love through song.

The evening’s spaghetti dinner will support Journey of Hope’s upcoming mission trip to Spirit Lake, North Dakota.

A free-will offering will be collected during the meal and concert to help fund the mission work. The venue is fully handicap-accessible.

Known for their inspiring harmonies and heartfelt ministry, Alleluia Quartet has performed throughout Illinois, Wisconsin, and Iowa.

As tenor Todd Scott shares, “This is a ministry. Wherever we go, we worship. And we have been given the opportunity to worship with people in many different places.”

Their latest album, “Alleluia,” recorded in Denver, Colorado, offers listeners a worshipful journey through music.

Enjoy a joyful evening of music, memories, and ministry at Journey of Hope.
