Rosenblum named District 211’s new board president
The three newly elected members of the Palatine-Schaumburg High School District 211 board of education were sworn in Thursday, but the board’s new officers were chosen from among the already seated members.
Former vice president Steven Rosenblum was the only nominee for president, succeeding Anna Klimkowicz who served in the role for only the last of her seven terms on the board.
Rosenblum was appointed to a vacancy on the board in 2017 and was elected to terms of his own in 2019 and 2023.
Kimberly Cavill, who has been on the board since 2019, moved from secretary to vice president. Michelle Barron, elected in 2023, became secretary.
The three new members are Anne Lopez, Jane Russell and Kenneth Van Dyke.
