Support Seals in addition to Obama

I listened to Barack Obama's speech at the Democratic National Convention and, for the first time since Bush took office, I'm hopeful about the future of our country. But it'll take more than a Democratic president to undo the damage done over the past seven and a half years! We need to make sure we have a strong majority in Congress as well.

Which brings me to Mark Kirk and Dan Seals. When Mark Kirk was first elected in 2000, he portrayed himself as the kind of moderate Republican his predecessor, John Porter, had been. Kirk's voting record proves otherwise, as he has consistently sided with the Bush administration and voted with the Republicans in Congress over 88% of the time. I urge all voters in the 10th district to go to the Web site http://www.kirkfacts.com to check out his record for yourselves.

Dan Seals will bring the kind of change we need in Washington - that's why I'll be supporting him in November. I hope you'll support Dan Seals, too.
