Still investigating in Libertyville:

Libertyville Police Chief Pat Carey said Monday officials still were unable to provide details to the public on events surrounding the fatal shooting of a man by a village police officer last weekend. Spencer Foutes, 23, was killed about 6 a.m. Saturday after pointing a handgun at officers called to a domestic disturbance at a townhouse where he lived in the 600 block of Cali Court on Libertyville's south side. Carey said the Lake County Major Crime Task Force is investigating "the entire incident." He said it's hoped the investigation concludes today, and officials will be at liberty to inform the community about what happened in detail. Lake County Corner Dr. Richard Keller said results from toxicology tests were not available Monday as originally anticipated.
