Schuring Redmer for ECC board

On April 7, we will be electing members to the Elgin Community College board of trustees. Those who are selected will be affecting the policies of Elgin Community College. Consequently, our vote is very important and Donna Schuring Redmer is a most deserving candidate.

I have had the distinct honor of knowing and working with Donna and am aware of her many accomplishments. Her contributions in the world of education include, teacher, assistant principal, principal, director of curriculum and educational consultant. Redmer has business experience, has held positions on several foundations, is involved extensively in community service, and is the recipient of countless awards. One needs only to log on to her Web site, donna4ecc.org, to see the scope of her successes.

There is no challenge that Redmer is unwilling to address and solve. She is resourceful, creative, cooperative and a person of integrity. She has the experience and drive that predicts success.
