29 events held in Schaumburg

Schaumburg elected officials, police command staff and patrol officers will be joined by several members of the state legislature visiting 29 neighborhood National Night Out events. It's the largest number of such events in the village's history. Schaumburg residents wishing to participate in the event, which is to heighten crime prevention awareness and build police-community partnerships, can call 311 for a location near their home. Information on neighborhood watch and National Night Out is available from Crime Prevention Specialist Paula Diaz, (847) 348-7274 or pdiaz@ci.schaumburg.il.us.
