Briefs: Triangle acquires Advantage Printing

ADDISON -- Triangle Printers Inc. president David Saltzman has announced the acquisition of Advantage Printing Inc. of Addison. Charged with overseeing Triangle's newest expansion is Advantage's former president and founder, Shiv Mendiratta, 59, who takes on the role of senior account executive for Triangle, according to Triangle. A native of Oak Brook, Mendiratta founded Advantage in 1988.

Zebra touts printers with XML ability

VERNON HILLS -- Zebra Technologies Corp. has announced its line of Zebra ZPL-based thermal printers can communicate directly and seamlessly with Oracle(R) XML Publisher. Now the Zebra ZPL-based printers can receive and process XML output from any Oracle application more quickly to eliminate printing delays, save customers time and money and improve operational efficiencies, according to Zebra.
