Frasz has correct view on donations<

In checking county board candidate financial disclosures, (www.elections.state.il.us), I found that Jan Carlson of Kane County Board District 26 has accepted contributions from road builders and construction labor unions.

Also, most of his donors are not only from out of the district but out of Kane County. Many of them are from Kendall County.

Perhaps these donations explain Mr. Carlson's support of the Prairie Parkway, contrary to the desires of the people he represents. Although they may be legal, it is certainly inappropriate.

How can a board member and chairman of the transportation committee vote on transportation and development issues when encumbered with these contributions?

I do not want my tax dollars spent on paying back political favors.

I will be voting for Drew Frasz, who has run a citizen driven campaign, has pledge to not accept campaign contributions from firms or individuals that will expect county business in return, and is supported by many local officials and citizens groups from throughout the district.
