With three decades of successful business experience, Geneva resident R.J. "Skip" Marshall has become a business coach and franchise owner with ActionCOACH, a business coaching company. Marshall, who has completed 200 hours of training as part of a certification process, has associated his ActionCOACH business efforts with Craig Lowder, an established ActionCOACH business coach and president of Affinity Business Partners of St. Charles.

With more than 12 years experience in the hotel industry, Lara LeGrand of Galena joined Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa as sales manager responsible for all sales efforts, including bookings for meeting planners and direct sales to groups. LeGrand most recently served as director of sales and marketing at the Irish Cottage Hotel in Galena.

Batavia resident Meg Goodman was named recipient of the seventh annual Chicago Association of Direct Marketing Pat Wheelless Award for Outstanding Mentorship. Goodman, whose career includes leadership positions with some of Chicago's most significant direct marketing agencies and corporations, is a frequent speaker at corporations, conferences, universities and professional associations and has authored numerous feature articles for financial and trade publications.

Chris Kohlhagen with The Kohlhagen/Dierking team from Keller William Fox Valley Realty in St. Charles has completed a luxury home marketing training course offered by First Webber. Kohlhagen is an award winning sales associate who has been in real estate since 2004, specializing in the Fox Valley market.
