Who's on the playoff bubble?
Last year, everyone in the area went into the last weekend of the regular season knowing if they were in the postseason. This year, six teams are still unsure of their playoff fates with two games matching 4-4 hopefuls. Since the field expanded to 256 teams in 2001, the cutoff of playoff points (total wins of opponents) has ranged from 28 (2002) to 38 (2006).
