Lending Solutions wins credit contract

ELGIN --Lending Solutions Inc., a provider of lending center services and consulting, said Thursday that Kokomo, Ind.-based Transmission Builders Federal Credit Union has selected it for its loan-by-phone, Internet lending and indirect underwriting services. Lending Solutions is based in Elgin.

Old Second buying HeritageBanc

AURORA -- Old Second Bancorp Inc. on Thursday said it is buying HeritageBanc Inc. in a half cash and half stock deal valued at $86 million. Aurora-based Old Second said the deal will give it a 35-branch bank network and $3 billion in assets. HeritageBanc is a $350 million asset bank based in Frankfort, with branches in Chicago Heights, Moneka and New Lenox. Family-owned Old Second said the buyout represents a significant move into Will County.
