Briefs: Tranquility owner makes registry

ST. CHARLES -- Beverly Miller, owner of Tranquility Skin and Body Care Center, has been selected as an honored member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Miller's outstanding business and civic achievements. Biltmore's Who's Who provides its members with biographical information of key executives and professionals.

Gallagher acquires Intermountain

ITASCA -- Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. on Thursday announced the acquisition of Intermountain Financial Benefits, based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Terms of the sale were not disclosed. Intermountain is an employee benefits insurance broker of group life, accident, health, dental, retirement, term disability and cafeteria plans. Gallagher is an Itasca-based insurance brokerage.
