NISRA theater programs invites you to 'Shrek Jr.'

Exuberant sounds of singing, dancing and acting will echo through the Cosman Theater in Huntley when young actors with disabilities perform excerpts from "Shrek." The public is invited to attend performances of "Shrek Jr." at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, or Friday, Dec. 18.

After practicing for 10 weeks, 26 participants in Northern Illinois Special Recreation Association theater programs will show off their acting skills in "Shrek, Jr.," a one-hour version of the popular musical.

All seats are general admission and tickets can be purchased at the door for $2 each. Tickets and donations help to offset costs of the production. The Cosman Theater is located in the Huntley Park District R.E.C. Center, 12015 Mill Street in Huntley.
