IRON GATE MOTOR CONDOS OFFICIALLY OPENS IN NAPERVILLE

Naperville, IL - The 45-acre luxury garage complex, Iron Gate Motor Condos, located at 2212 Ferry Road, just west of Illinois Route 59, has officially opened its doors and will soon announce construction on Phase II of the 160-unit development. Iron Gate Motor Condos is designed for car enthusiasts by avid car collector Tom Burgess.

Recently, Grand Opening events included a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by VIPS, local dignitaries and area business leaders, including Naperville Mayor Steve Chirico and previous Mayor George Pradel. The next day, "Super Car Friday" showcased an array of automobiles, such as a rare Koenigsegg super car, Ferraris and Lamborghinis, a Limited Edition Bentley, a "Ludicrous" Tesla Model S, 918 Porsche, an Alpha 10 Twin Turbo Audi R8 1000 horsepower "mischief" machine and many American Muscle Cars.

The weekend also featured the monthly networking and information event "Chrome and Coffee" on Saturday and hosting of the starting line for the "Ultimate Road Rally" event. According to Chirico, "I've been out here several times. It's a spectacular development and everyone has a wonderful time."

When finished, Iron Gate Motor Condos will offer a secure, gated campus comprised of 13 buildings. More than 120 owners are expected to personalize their garages with customized design elements to showcase their private collection of luxury, collectable and/or exotic cars. A 22-acre nature preserve replete with a bike and walking trail is nested within the beautiful 45-acre setting. With Iron Gate, customers not only have access to spacious, safe, temperature controlled storage for their prized possessions, but a quality of life development in a nationally recognizable community.

Real Estate Developer Tom Burgess of Burgess Commercial Real Estate conceived the idea when he didn't have enough storage room for his collection of luxury vehicles. His garage features his automobiles, office space, a collection of antiques, and a beautiful carved wooden pub bar with brass railings, a canopy, illuminated glass ceiling.

"What's really cool is the cars bring everyone together," Burgess said. "There is no pretense out here. If it has a steering wheel and wheels, and you are passionate about it, you're welcome. Tell us about it, and let us embrace it too."

The buildings are finished with James Hardie concrete siding, stone wainscoting and steel gabled roofs. Prices start at $129,000 for the smallest unit, which measures 20 ' by 40 '. Seven floor plans are available. The garages come with a viewing loft, 14-foot-by-18-foot overhead garage doors, radiant heat, plumbing, floor drain and sprinklers. Owners pay for their utilities as well as assessments, which are based on the amount of square footage owned, to the condo association. The smallest units, for instance, pays about $55 a month. Iron Gate Motor Condos recently received approval from the Naperville City council to expand their business by opening the Iron Gate Motor Plaza, slated for construction later this fall at the front of the property on Ferry Road.
