Food, Fragrance and Art Theme of Glen Ellyn-Wheaton Community Associates Holiday Luncheon

Wednesday, December 9, members of the Glen Ellyn-Wheaton Community Associates of the Art Institute of Chicago and their guests gathered at the Carlisle Banquets in Lombard to celebrate the holiday season and experience a unique program given by a senior lecturer of Museum Education from the Art Institute. Annie Morse captured her audience with the title of her presentation, "Food, Fragrance and Art," and her statement that allusions to fragrance and culinary flavors appear in works of art throughout human history and across cultures. With beautifully projected pictures of examples of her concept, Morse entertained her listeners throughout her production. For information about becoming a member of the Community Associates, interested people can call 630-469-5316. The next program open to guests is scheduled for Wed. Feb. 17, 2016.
