Winterfest Art Market returns for three days Nov. 10-12

Water Street Studios is once again collaborating with Batavia MainStreet to bring you Winterfest Art Market, a holiday shopping event on Nov. 10-12.

Fine artists and artisans selling. handmade, vintage, and repurposed items will be featured throughout 150 First Street, Water Street Studios, and Hearth & Hammer.

The event will have drinks, food, and live entertainment at Kiss the Sky throughout the weekend.

The market will be open from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11; and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12.

Join this festive shopping experience, with food, drinks, live music and makers workshops happening throughout the weekend.

There will be more than 35 vendors and 26 individual artist studios with a wide variety of offerings for all your gift giving needs.

Create something special at one of the Makers Workshops. They are offering a 21-and-older Wintery Watercolor Paint + Sip class, Metal Ornaments Making, and Artisan Holiday Giftwrap Making. Each workshop is $40.

Kiss the Sky is bringing live music to the event.

On Friday, Chase Flanagan will be playing current indie and post-punk music covers at 7 p.m.

On Saturday, Noah Gabriel playing mostly original material influenced by Chris Whitley, Ben Harper, and Lucinda Williams at 1 p.m.

It will be followed at 3 p.m. by Roxy & Olivia Acoustic playing and interpreting a variety of artists including Fleetwood Mac and Dolly Parton, as well as more current artists like Modest Mouse and Paramore.

On Sunday, The Luxure Trio, a jazz ensemble whose influences run the gamut from Amad Jamal to Vince Guaraldi and Wayne Shorter, will perform at noon.
