Pakistan a land of oldest civilization with world's 9th largest English speaking population is the gateway to Asia, said Consul General Tirmizi while speaking a gathering of students and faculty of Morgan Park High School of Chicago. The Consul General gave a presentation about culture and social system of Pakistan including a detailed briefing about economic revival of the country.

The Consul General, after having volunteered for the Chicago Public School and Consular Cops pairing initiative, was invited by Morgan Park High School to speak to a group of International Baccalaureate Student.

The students of Morgan Park High School posed various questions about education system in Pakistan and showed their keen interest in knowing about Pakistani culture. A significant part of the presentation comprised of tourism potential of Pakistan which gained special attention of the audience.

Posing the front lead role being played by Pakistani women was another considerable feature of the presentation. Many students inquired about current status of women education in Pakistan. On a question about quality of education in Pakistan, the Consul General informed the audience that thousands of students from Pakistani State Universities are successfully serving in USA as leading physicians, engineers and IT professionals.

The Consul General stressed for enhanced people-to-people contacts between the two countries and invited the authorities of the Chicago Public School system to establishing mechanism of high school student exchange program with Pakistan.
