No. 17 Oklahoma women win 7th straight, beat Tulsa 75-62

TULSA, Okla. (AP) - Kaylon Williams had 21 points and 12 rebounds, and No. 17 Oklahoma won its seventh straight after a 75-62 victory over Tulsa on Wednesday night.

Williams was 9 of 17 from the floor. Maddie Manning added 19 points for Oklahoma (8-1), which played its last non-conference game of the season and is off to its best start since going 8-1 in the 2012-13 season.

Teanna Reid scored 15 points to lead the Golden Hurricane (2-7), who have lost four of their last five games. Ashley Clark, a former high school teammate of Williams, chipped in 12 points.

Manning scored 11 points and Williams had nine in the first quarter to help the Sooners build a 40-24 halftime lead. The duo added 11 points in a 19-14 third quarter to give Oklahoma a 21-point lead.

Oklahoma is 12-1 at Tulsa, and leads the series 25-2.
