Arlington Heights art show opens Thursday night

The Empty Corner in Arlington Heights will host an opening reception Thursday night for its second “100 Under $100” exhibition featuring local art for sale.

Drawings, paintings, photography, ceramics, sculptures and mixed-media pieces will be displayed salon-style and priced to sell under $100 during the opening reception from 6 to 9 p.m. at the art gallery, 214 E. Grove St.

The Kurbside Pizza + Panini food truck will also have food available for sale.

The artwork from more than 75 Northwest suburban residents will be displayed through June 30. For more information, visit theemptycorner.com.
