Lake Zurich to review proposal for rental/retail plan downtown

The Lake Zurich village board will conduct a courtesy review Monday for a mixed-use development for “Block A” at 153 W. Main St., downtown.

The concept by Paul Prano Properties consists of 51 luxury rental units over three stories with five retail space units on the ground floor. Parking spaces included 161 sub-garage indoor and surface spaces.

This is a nonvoting agenda item and intended to give the developer a sense of the board’s preferences toward the proposed use of the site.

The concept will be heard at the village board meeting beginning at 7 p.m. at village hall, 70 E. Main St., and will be broadcast live on local public access channels, on the village website and on Facebook Live and LZYoutube.
