Chicago welcomes Pakistani musicians

The South Asia Institute, 1925 S. Michigan Ave., Chicago, hosts Pakistan’s famed Saami Brothers, who perform traditional qawwali music, a type of devotional singing that dates back 800 years and became mainstream late last century.
