A valuable statement on grief

The June 9 essay by John Lampinen really hit home for me. I recently lost the only man I ever loved. We were married for 57 years and dated for five. Mr. Lampinen perfectly describes "intimate grief" and that grief perseveres. It is grief that won't give up. I'm sure there are many people that related to this wonderful explicit article of intimate grief. I know I am not alone, it's a grief that is hard to describe. His statement “They don't disappear from our lives. We are merely in different rooms." Amen
