Lombard Historical Society presents ‘Flavor Bombs & Compound Butters’

The Lombard Historical Society will present a program on “Flavor Bombs & Compound Butters” at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 11.

Marcy Lautanen-Raleigh of Backyard Patch Herbs will show how to unleash a symphony of flavors in your cooking. Registration is required at LombardHistory.org for this free program as space is limited.

Discover how to effortlessly infuse dishes with explosive taste using basic ingredients and minimal expertise. Whether as pastes or butters, these flavor bombs, crafted from fresh and dried herbs, are your secret weapon for enhancing your menu. Elevate your kitchen prowess with this easy-to-master technique.

Lautanen-Raleigh started growing herbs in 1994. Her first herb garden resulted from her need for good tea herbs. To this day, tea is among her favorite creations. Her husband does not use salt or preservatives, as a result all of her seasonings and mixes, are all salt free, organic and preservative free. Backyard Patch Herbs’ mission is simple yet profound: to bring you the finest quality dried herb blends that are not only bursting with flavor but are also free from preservatives and chemicals.
