Forbes names Corporate America Family Credit Union one of America's best credit unions

This week, Corporate America Family Credit Union (CAFCU) was recognized in Forbes' list of "Best Credit Unions In Each State 2023."

Out of close to 5,000 credit unions in the U.S., CAFCU was chosen as one of the top 147 member-owned co-ops nationwide and one of the best in the state of Illinois. The sixth annual ranking, edited by Rachel Rabkin Peachman, was released on June 20.

The news comes on the heels of CAFCU's 84th anniversary celebration.

To create the list, Forbes and market research firm Statista asked approximately 31,000 U.S. residents to name all the banks and credit unions where they have a checking or savings account.

They then evaluated the credit unions on their member service, quality of the financial advice, fee transparency, website navigability, branch services, Google reviews, and overall trust the companies inspired.

Companies pay no fee to participate.

"We're extremely honored and gratified that Illinoisans recognize CAFCU as one of their top credit unions," said CAFCU CEO Peter Paulson. "Being included in Forbes' ranking of the best credit unions by state is a testament to the hard work of our team every day to empower our members' financial success."
