Celebrate Oktoberfest in Bartlett Sept. 29-30

Join the fun at the Oktoberfest celebration in Bartlett's Leiseberg Park, 325 E. Devon Ave., from 4:30-10:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 29 and noon to 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 30.

The event, hosted by four community organizations - the Bartlett Area Chamber of Commerce, the Bartlett Rotary Club, the Bartlett Lions Club, and Ignite the Courage - offers fun for all, featuring live music all weekend, a selection of Oktoberfest beer and food, including brats and soft pretzels, crafter and vendor booths, and Family Fun on Saturday afternoon. The Tapping of the Golden Keg with village officials and friends of the fest will signal the official start of the festivities at 5 p.m. on Friday.

Admission to Oktoberfest is free with beer/food tickets available for purchase.

There is no parking available at Leiseberg Park, so ride sharing, Uber, or Lyft transportation is encouraged. Parking is available at the Bartlett Aquatic Center, 620 W. Stearns Road, with free round-trip shuttle service to Leiseberg Park. A Hanover Township shuttle will leave from the main entrance of the Bartlett Aquatic Center and run on a continuous loop to and from Leiseberg Park starting at 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. The last return trip will depart from Leiseberg Park at 10:45 p.m.
