Batavia United Way to host 'The Art of Whiskey' Feb. 2

Join the Batavia United Way on Thursday, Feb. 2, for "The Art of Whiskey," an exclusive evening with Nick Nagele, co-founder of Whiskey Acres.

For this 21-and-older event, participants will enjoy a welcome cocktail, then sample three artisan blends of whiskey while Nick tells the story of turning a kernel to a bottle.

End the evening browsing the art galleries and enjoying the cash bar. Light snacks and a keepsake tasting glass is included in the ticket price.

It will be 7 to 9 p.m. in the historic Water Street Studios building, 160 S. Water St.

All proceeds of this event will benefit Batavia United Way.

Tickets are $70, plus online fees. Registration is required and can be found at www.eventbrite.com.
