Batavia

• Frank P. Slotkus, 44, of the 10700 block of Drake Street, Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance after a traffic stop at 1:02 a.m. Saturday on West Wilson Street and North Randall Road, according to police.

• Eddine T. Pierce, 23, of the 1200 block of Washington Street, Bushnell, Illinois, was charged with DUI-alcohol, improper lane use and possession of unsealed cannabis in a vehicle after a traffic stop at 8:56 p.m. Saturday on Mooseheart Road, according to police.

• A window at a vacant business on the 800 block of North Randall Road was reported broken at 10:50 a.m. Thursday, and the damage was estimated at $750.

• Approximately $250 was reported stolen at 11:29 a.m. Sunday from a business on the 700 block of North Kirk Road.

Kane County

• A state identification card and vehicle registration card were stolen between 12:01 a.m. and 9 a.m. Friday from a vehicle on the 1300 block of Binder Street near Aurora, according to a sheriff's report.

• A mailbox on the 5N800 block of West Sunset Views Drive near St. Charles was struck by another car about 9 p.m. Wednesday, causing $350 in estimated damage.
