Barrington Area Chamber to host annual economic summit Feb. 6

The Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce will host its annual economic summit, "State of the Barrington Region," from 8 to 10 a.m. Feb. 6, at Barrington's White House, 145 W. Main St.

The event will feature village officials from 11 Barrington-area communities updating local business leaders and the community on current economic conditions and what lies ahead for the area in 2019.

Confirmed speakers include Barrington Village President Karen Darch, Barrington Hills Village President Martin McLaughlin, Long Grove Village President Bill Jacob and South Barrington Village President Paula McCombie.

Cost is $40 for chamber members and $50 for guests, which includes a hot breakfast buffet served by Egg Harbor Café. To register, call the chamber office at (847) 381-2525 or email events@barringtonchamber.com. Online registration is available at barringtonchamber.com.
