Donate supplies in Schaumburg to benefit Ukraine

Recent events in Ukraine have made many feel the urge to help. Schaumburg Township District Library has joined with several local organizations to collect needed supplies for the people of Ukraine.

Supplies will be accepted through March 15, then taken to the Ukrainian Cultural Center in Chicago and shipped via Meest-Karpaty.

Donations of new, unopened, nonperishable food items and new, unopened clothing and other essentials can be brought to the collection boxes at the following locations:

• Any Schaumburg Township District Library location: Central Library, 130 S. Roselle Road, Schaumburg; Hoffman Estates Branch, 1500 Hassell Road, Hoffman Estates; or Hanover Park Branch, 1266 Irving Park Road, Hanover Park

• Schaumburg Village Hall, 101 Schaumburg Court, Schaumburg

• Schaumburg Township Office, 1 Illinois Blvd., Hoffman Estates

• Hoffman Estates Village Hall, 1900 Hassell Road, Hoffman Estates

• Hoffman Estates Chamber of Commerce Office, 2200 W. Higgins Road, Suite 201, Hoffman Estates

• Hanover Park Village Hall, 2121 W. Lake St., Hanover Park
