Huntley Indoor Farmers Market to have Mardi Gras theme March 2

Huntley's monthly Indoor Farmers Market returns from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 2, in the American Legion Hall, 11712 Coral St.

This month, it will have a "Mardi Gras." The first 25 attendees will get one free paczki from Morkes Chocolates. There also will be free hourly drawings and Mardi Gras giveaways. Kids can learn how to make a Mardi Gras mask.

Shop the market for your favorite farmers market items: beef, pork, chicken, fresh and fresh frozen veggies, microgreens, baked goods, local honey, pastas, fresh fruit jams, organic grains, pasta sauces, salsas, condiments, granolas, freshly roasted coffee beans, and more.

Glass Farm Greens will have Pea Shoot samples (and for purchase) along with fresh frozen veggies, canned pears and more.

The Huntley High School jobs skills class will be bringing their popular soy candles. To celebrate spring, their March scents include: Apple Kale, Shamrock Shake, English Ivy, Lavender Mint and Coconut Lime.

Sharpening by Dave will be there to sharpen your knives, scissors, and more.

Alpaca Pines will have a wide selection of their alpaca-made products from their own alpacas.

Ebonyflo Jewelry will be featuring their handmade jewelry.
