A Naperville letter to the editor: So why has Irvin voted for Democrats?

Aurora Mayor Richard Irvin, running for governor, supposedly as a Republican, still has not explained why he voted in Democratic primaries.

In his interview with the Daily Herald he dodged the question. His statement that he is a Republican and that Barack Obama campaigned against him in 2005 fails to answer the question - why did he vote in Democratic primaries?
