workNet DuPage, Choose DuPage, and COD to host free job search series for parents and caregivers

The workNet DuPage Career Center, Choose DuPage, and College of DuPage will jointly host "Back to School, Back to Work," a free job search workshop series for parents who have taken significant time out of the workforce to provide child care.

Workshops include "Current Trends in Resume Writing" on Friday, Sept. 15; "Job Searching in a Digital World" on Friday, Sept. 22; and "Interviewing and Negotiating" on Friday, Sept. 29.

All workshops begin at 10 a.m. at the workNet DuPage Career Center at 2525 Cabot Drive in Lisle.

In addition to resume, interview, and negotiation best practices, workshops will tackle how to address employment gaps and when and how to address parental supports requested for the workplace.
