Lisle plans electronic recycling event

Lisle's next electronics recycling event will be from 8 a.m. until noon Saturday, June 20, in the commuter parking lot just west of village hall at 925 Burlington Ave.

CRTs, flat-screen and projection TVs will be accepted for a fee ($25 or $35) depending on size. Appliances of any type or size are not accepted. Clothes and fabric will be accepted.

The event is open to all DuPage County. residents

In light of COVID-19 precautions, steps are being taken to minimize contact with site staff. Staff members will wear masks and gloves, and will regularly sanitize their hands and the tablet computer they use for transactions, They are trained in the proper use of all personal protection supplies and processes.
